"We have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world"……1 John 4:14

Following are personal testimonies from people who have been saved. They heard the gospel (good news) and received it as the truth. Their lives have been changed all because God provided a way……..

This testimony was given by Bradley Baugh, Member:

"Obviously, growing up in a christian home, I heard the gospel many times. With that said, my salvation testimony starts as a young boy. One day when I was four years old I, all of a sudden, had a curiosity about what salvation was all about. I went to my mother and she, as any good christion mother would do, brought me to the bible and showed me several passages of scripture. She showed me that I was a sinner deserving eternity in hell but there was only one exception……I could accept Jesus Christ's substitutionary sacrifice and I could avoid hell and get to go to heaven. Without any hesitation, I prayed to be saved. Well, several years went by and when I was twelve years old, through hearing several salvation testimonies, I began to question the assurance of my salvation. I got alone with my brother, Britton, on June 21, 2004 at 1:45am, and began to discuss with him my lack of assurance of salvation. He also brought me through scripture and helped me to realize that getting saved is not just a prayer you pray or is not just a lifestyle. He helped me to realize that in order to really get saved, you must be completely serious with God and that when you pray you must sincerely mean it from your heart. He also told me that if I had to, I could pray again for salvation. Whether I got saved as a four year old boy or not, I don't know but on that day I didn't want to risk not being saved. I got on my knees and asked God to forgive me of my sins and to accept me into heaven. From that day forward, I have no longer struggled with assurance of my salvation. I know in my heart that I meant every word I prayed and that God has given me salvation according to His Word. Now I have a place waiting for me once I leave this world."
